Deep Conditioning DIY Hair Treatments

Do you have dry hair? Too much heat styling, over processed maybe? Not to fear!

These do-it-yourself deep conditioning treatments for dry hair will totally revive and repair every strand of hair! Treatments for dry hair a try. Guaranteed you’ll be amazed by how soft, shiny and healthy your hair is after just one use!

Deep conditioning treatments are so important, especially for dry hair! This simple do-it-yourself deep conditioner only uses three ingredients that you probably already have in your home; avocado oil, argan oil and Shea Butter:

Simply mix 2 tablespoons avocado oil with an equal amount of argan oil. Mix in one tablespoon of Shea Butter and microwave mixture for 10-20 seconds, or just enough to warm. Now apply your deep conditioning treatment for dry hair to damp, not wet, hair and allow to sit for at least 30 minutes. Rinse hair gently with warm water and allow to air dry. The results are beautiful, silky smooth hair that shines brighter than the sun!

Another amazing deep conditioning recipe for dry hair is so easy-to-make, you only need two ingredients; coconut oil and argan oil!

To make your DIY deep conditioner, just take one tablespoon of each ingredient in the palms of your hands and rub in a circular motion to warm the oils. Now apply from roots to ends, concentrating on the ends. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes to one hour and then rinse with warm water. The results, unbelievably healthy, soft and shiny hair!

TIP: For extra benefits and better absorption, wrap your head in a warm towel while you let the deep conditioner sit. This will open the cuticle and really let the conditioner soak in. You can simply add a tiny bit of water to a towel and microwave it for 30 seconds to warm.Now if you prefer to just pop into the store to pick up your favourite deep conditioning hair treatment rather than making your own, I would recommend the following products;

  1. Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm For Thick/Coarse Hair: This moisture packed powerhouse does more than just hydrate your hair! It also strengthens and reduces breakage by up to 80%! This lovely product is made with Murumuru, Olive, and Shea Butters. I find that after just one use my hair is healthy, shiny and hydrated!

Please remember that this product is best suited for ladies with thick, coarse hair. If you have fine hair it is best to look for a lighter product!

2. Joico Intense Hydrator Treatment For Dry, Damaged Hair: This treatment is less of a deep conditioning treatment and more of a restorative one. Joico’s Intense Hydrator works by restoring essential amino acids, silicone sealing the cuticle, and delivering an intense shine. Shea Butters and Lanolin work to replace lost lipids.

This is a great product and I find that it totally transforms my hair! One caution is that you don’t want to over use this product! I would strongly suggest no more than once a week!
